Jack Burwick, 84, of Baytown was born February 25, 1934, in Sour Lake and passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018, in a local hospital. He was a U. S. Army veteran and formerly owned Dayton AC. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, the NRA, Baytown Masonic Lodge #1357, Baytown Shrine Club, and Liberty Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Bertha and Carl Biano; stepmother, Rosalie Biano; father, George Burwick; brothers, Danny Biano and Cleburn Burwick; and son, Jeff Burwick. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Burwick; stepson and wife, Brad and Jan Wolcik; stepdaughter, Leslie Walsingham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl David and Pat Biano and Robert Earl “Red” and Irma Biano; and grandchildren, Clayton Adams and Joseph, Jaci, and Jenna Wolcik.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Miller officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Morgan Cemetery in Security, Texas in Montgomery County.
