Dan H. Willson, 90, of Baytown was born January 25, 1928, in Mount Pleasant and passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, in a local healthcare facility. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas where he was a member of the ATO fraternity. Dan was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Exxon and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Baytown Rotary Club, where he was a past president, was a former Lee College regent, and served as the head of the United Way of the Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Camille Willson; brother, Sam F. Willson, Jr., and sister, Phyllis Wolters. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Suzanne Willson of Baytown; daughters and son-in-law, Margaret and Michael Price of Houston and Camille Willson of Baytown; grandchildren, Daniel and Tandra Willson and Heather and Joe Daniels; and great grandchildren, Logan Willson, Sterling Daniels, and Millie Daniels.
There will be a memorial service Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 5010 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77521, with Rev. Meredith Crigler officiating.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church building fund.
