Charles Foster, 64, of Baytown was born August 14, 1953, in Columbus, MS and passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, at his home. He was a 1975 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a member of Rollingbrook Fellowship at First Baptist Church. He enjoyed music and was a former band director in the Goose Creek school district.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Katherine Foster. He is survived by his wife, Doris Foster of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Patricia Foster of Keller; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Ismael Reyna of Baytown; brothers and sister-in-law, Clarence “Sonny” and Mary Foster and John Foster, all of Rocky Mount, NC; and grandchildren, Katherine Reyna, Christopher Reyna, and Gavin Wilkerson.
His family will receive friends Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Rollingbrook Fellowship at First Baptist Church, 505 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Yowell officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Robert Quick, Gary Gardner, Spike Buie, Ray Berry, Danny Humphries, Joe Carrera, Danny Blurton, and Ed Haberman.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to Rollingbrook Fellowship at First Baptist Church.
