Mr. Earl Baldwin Gamble, a resident of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from progressive effects of Alzheimer’s disease. Mr. Gamble, a native of Dothan, Alabama, was born on November 14, 1932. He served at the rank of Corporal in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Masonic Order and the Shriners. He began his professional career in sales in Houston, Texas and owned and operated small businesses in Dothan, Alabama, including Gamble Storage & Transfer Co., an agent for Allied Van Lines.
Mr. Gamble was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Gamble, of Dothan, Alabama and his wife, Mrs. Ruby Murl Gamble of Baytown, Texas. Survivors include his two children, Teresa Gamble Jackson and her husband, Michael, of Perdido Key, Florida and John E. Gamble of Corpus Christi, Texas and his fiancé, Heather L. Graham; and four grandchildren, Blake and Katie Smith and Taylor and Alex Gamble.
Visitation will be Monday, August 14, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas. The graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. and will be held at the Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery in Baytown, Texas.
